Randy Husar, age 60, passed away July 24, 2010, at a local health facility. Randall B. Husar was born January 30, 1950, in Lincoln, NE. He spent the first five years of his life in Elmwood, NE, before moving with his family to Fort Collins. In 1968, Randy graduated from Poudre High School and attended CSU for two years.
Two of his greatest enjoyments were listening to classical music and reading about ancient history. He had a long standing interest in environmental issues. Randy also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.
Randy is survived by his mother, Evelyn; sister, Linda of Malden, MA; and several cousins and their families in the Chicago area. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul. Randy will long be remembered for his kindness, gentle manner and concern for others.
A memorial service will be held 10:30 am Monday, August 2, 2010, at Allnutt Drake Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Randy Husar Memorial Fund in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 West Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526.
